What is Neurophysiotherapy?

Neurological physiotherapy is the treatment of patients who have a neurological disorder such as stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury or Parkinson's disease.

What happens during the treatment?

Yvonne will assess and analyse your posture, movement, pain, weakness, and any balance or walking problems.

From this analysis Yvonne will develop a bespoke treatment plan to improve your function, reduce your pain and acheive your personal goals.

Treatment may include:

Myofascial fascial release

Vestibular training

Exercise program to strengthen muscles

Walking and balance re-education

Addresssing altered movement patterns

Control spasticity and muscle rigidity
